Gentle Parenting Support
Respond to your child with empathy and consistency — without shame — in a compassionate, non-judgmental space.
About Gentle Parenting Support
You care about your child and want the best for them — but maybe you’re not enjoying parenting as much as you’d like, and it can feel relentless. You don’t have to do it alone. Gentle parenting doesn’t mean your child never acts out or that you never feel angry or overwhelmed — it’s normal for your child to show a wide range of emotions, and normal for you to want a break. We use research-based methods to help you respond with empathy and consistency, understand child development, manage stress, and set boundaries without shame-based discipline.

Frequently asked
Does gentle parenting mean no boundaries or discipline?
Not at all. Gentle parenting is about setting clear, consistent boundaries with empathy instead of shame. It doesn’t mean your child never acts out or that you never feel overwhelmed — it means you have research-based tools to respond well.
Do you offer a parenting class?
Yes — we run a free "Active Parenting" workshop (an 8-week virtual and in-person program) facilitated by Oana Opris, ACMHC. It’s free for existing clients and their families; there’s a one-time $45 evaluation for the general public.
